Allan started in the insurance business in 1989. Since 1993, Allan has produced at a level that permitted his qualification for MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table) and for the past 5 years he has qualified as Top of the Table.
Allan originally started with Canada Life and quickly became known for his exceptional skills. Canada Life sent him on a Disability Specialist course to represent PEI and then later the entire Atlantic region. His success with the disability consulting led to Allan being approached by Canada Life for an in depth studying of Canadian Tax Principals and their applications for Corporate Insurance clients. In 1998, Allan incorporated his practice (A.M. Burgoyne Insurance Associates Inc.) and became a true brokerage firm that does high level coverage with the largest insurance companies in Canada. Allan routinely qualifies for world wide insurance conferences and has been a perennial speaker at such conferences.
